We have a long-standing collaboration with the labs of Jan Münch and and Frank Kirchhoff. Together with the lab of Warner Greene at the J. David Gladstone Institutes, our labs have together extensively characterized the effects of semen and semen factors on HIV infection, HIV microbicides, and reproductive health. Ongoing collaborations seek to characterize the effects of various HIV accessory gene products on HIV replication in primary cells, and to characterize viral pathogenesis including in the context of COVID-19.
